Need Some/any information belonesox - balsani

I have 2 belonesox 1 male 1 female - I have learned you need to feed them live food - not really pysched about that - but they are cool fish - how many and what male female relationship should i keep.

I also have 2 balsani how big do they get? any means of sexing.

Females get bigger, to around 9'', whereas males get to about 5''. Males have a more noticeable dark spot near the base of the tail.

Belonesox Besides being a livebearer that will only eat live foods the females need to be kept well fed or they will eat your males. Other than that, from what I hear they're pretty much like a guppy just with a much more rigorous diet. Most people that keep them give up on them because they're too hard to feed once you get em breeding lol.

I will let u know how it works out.

I am going to start starving them so they learn to eat frozen/freeze dried. They are pretty cool fish though. They hunt their food reminds me and my kids of what a velociraptor might hunt like.

On staten island - Animal Kingdom has a male and female in jersey Absolutely Fish has a tank full - Absolutely fish is just feeding them dried shrimp - I am giving it a shot unless i Have to get rid of them

Nice pick ups. I haven't been to animal kingdom since early January.
