I will have a 75g set up anad running in about a week. Would like an arow but not big enough tank. I live near Philly and am going to GIANT Aquarium to look for something. Anyone have any suggestions. Already have a 75g African cichlid tank. What should I get???? Cant figure out why I cant pick something. Flowerhorn, oscars,.....help me out !!!

So are you wanting a single fish? If so, I would choose either a nice Flowerhorn or a Wolf Fish. Those two fish are nothing alike in any way. But, if I had another 75 set up, I would get a Wolf Fish (I have a 75 with a Flowerhorn).

If you like arrows, look into african butterfly fish. they are very similar in appearances imo, and stay small enough to be happy in a 75. they are an interesting oddball. and co-habitat well w/ non-aggressive fish to large to eat (they do have large mouths though! ). They would make a nice top water fish.

otherwise if you want something more personable Oscars are great, common, but for a reason.

wolf fish are cool, personally never owned one. but seem to not be overly active except during feeding time. I certaintly could be wrong.

If your into ancient fish like Aros, a 75g is good for most upper jaw bichir species. Just stay away from the Ornates they get a little too big.

Since you are going to Giant Aquarium you might like their flowerhorns. They usually have one in almost every tank in the store.
