I'm trying to free up some tank space in my fish room! Would love to move ,my Red pike (12+") to my 6x2 tank with my FL mutt Pbass (10+").
Red pike has been alone for about a year in a 5' 100 gallon tank...

Anyone here want to voice any opinions? Is this a disaster waiting to happen.. btw pbass is used to sharing tank with a xl Chocolate cichlid, a JD and Red hooks for dithers...(these will be relocated) Neither pike nor pbass eat live food.

why not just try and see what happen, there maybe some aggression between the two, but I think as long as one doesnt fit in other's mouth, then I think it would be ok.

If they where smaller moving them in and out wouldn't be that big of a deal. Right now the pike in the acrylic euro braced tank has grown larger than the openings.:nilly:

Guess that's what it will come too trial and error..was hoping for a larger comfort zone

Dale ~ If it doesn't work out you can always relocate him in his direction. ;) BTW.....proper name is Crenicichla sp. 'atabapo I'.

Thanks always wondered what his true name was... Peanut this guy will be with me for awhile.. never seen a fish so red... the Dovii in the adjacent tank keeps him on his toes and colored up
