new arrow owner done my research and just looking for some tips and tricks from exps
owners you see i have several juvenile chilids (spell check) and there pigs so i'm fishing for ideas in ways to make sure the aro get's enough food.

i have some other tank's but there fairly small my biggest currently is a 90 gallon i have a 5/10/20/30 and the 90 aro is 5 inches with 2 oscars 2 inches

a 3 inch firemouth three 2 inch silver dollars two 2 inch blue acara and two 1 inch green terrors.

sorry, misread the post. try to make sure you place the food by him, but arows are fast. also, make sure you have no holes and a heavy lid as the are escape artists

hi.. what exactly is the current scene with your aro? how long since you introduced the aro to this tank? i'm sure by now you would have read a lot of other threads that say juvenile aros are best kept alone.. i understand there are other fish smaller than the aro but the GT and the firemouth will def get aggressive.. dollars are pretty quick and could def spook your aro.. i'd really recommend you try to raise the aro by itself for now.. please give some more info like if the aro is skittish.. not eating.. water temp and parameters.. filteration etc..

Your actions tell that you did not do alot of research. Better pat attention to the post above and do some research.

the other fish aren't giving the aro any problems at all i'm just having trouble telling if it's eating.

and all the other fish will not be kept together when mature (breeding pairs)

update arrows doing great just had too find a diet would take too.

loves shrimp cocktail's even saw em scoop some of the bottom.

flakes were the first food he would take.

o yeah and as for skittish about the onlt thing that spooks em is when i put my arm in the tank for feeding cleaning etc.
but recovers quickly.
