Hello guys, I planning to buy one of each of this little monsters.
One Delhezi, One Endli and One Ornate...
The situation: In my house, there is 2 tanks ! The main with 500 L and the other with 100 L (NO FISH - 28ºC - pH 6,5 - 7,0 - RIver Sand - Natural plant and a Cave)...
The bichir in store, is around 6 - 7 cm...I would like to buy them, make they grow and after, I can release them in the biggest aqua.
They must be around 18 - 20 cm until I can release....In the main, there is a Sen Bichir with 20 cm !!!

YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW LONG IT CAN TAKE ?
WHAT TO FEED THEM FOR A FAST AND HEALTH GROW ?

Some other advices will be great.

Thanks everyone ! ;D

CURIOSITY: How much are this Bichir in your Country/City ??

Brasil - São Paulo: Delhezi (6-7cm) - US$ 75 / Endli (6-7cm) - US$ 75 / Ornate (6-7 cm) - US$ 100

My ornate was 12cm long as i got him this april. Now we have december and he is almost 30cm. He got living fish, snails, pellets and worms for food.

They can grow very fast. Your 100l tank could be too small in a few month.

Got it...Is just want make them grow...and if this happen fast, even faster i can put them in the big tank...Nice info !

Thanks

I feed massivore, tilapia, cut shrimp mainly to my poly sand have some monsters and all my little one's tend to grow pretty fast. I also maintain a strict W/C routine on my tanks. I Have numerous sizes in my tank ranging from 20 inches down to 8 inches and have no problems. I would suggest you quartantine the fish and treat with prazipro if the polys are WC imports.

By me the prices are:

6" Delhezi: $30-$60 (I have paid both)

6" Endli: $60

6" Ornate: $60

Tks for the information !! The problem is, that in my main tank, I have a Wolf, KC, Gar and a Snakehead...soo, THAT would be a problem ! haha Tks again
