aight well today i bought my self an 80g tank and the guy who sold it to me had 2 big oscars so he game them to me anyways hmmm i know i have to cycle the tank first but how i am going to do that if the oscars are going to be in there??

im afraid the oscars are going to die in the process of the cylcle

i really need help and any advice right now will work asap

thank you all.....

yes i did get the filters i got everything from canopy to stand light the whole thing for 250 soo and the filter is a canister one

how much of the water that was in the tank do you have? was the gravel left in the tank too? if it is, is there any water in that gravel? how long has everything been sitting?

lets see well i just got it today and yes he game me 2 buckets with the fish in them with water of the thank in it still and yes the gravel is still there so i say about 5 hours have pass i believe

depends how long the filters went from being broken down to being set back up again. You might be fine or you might experience a mini cycle or a full swing cycle. Do you know anybody who could hold them for you temporarily just in case. Or you could go get yourself some bio spira in case you are having ammonia, nitrite, nitrate problems. :)

well i dont have no one to take care of them but yeah i can go get some bio spira
aight well right now imma fill the thannk so i might not answer aight brb

5 hours might be on the brink of where a lot of your beneficial bacteria will die off. You might want to try a product like bio spira and use it in smaller doses. :)

Ive moved tanks that were about 4 hours and never had a problem, but you may want some bio spira to be on the safe side:)

If you didn't overly clean tha filter and the gravel and they were kept fairly damp, you most likley are fine.

Get a test kit and monitor the water closely for the next week or so.
