im getting 2 jags that are paired up 5-7" long 1 dovii male 4" and 1 4" mono p'bass what would a 2 3" fire mouth paired up be like in there would they grow fast enuff ??

The firemouths will fit in the peacock basses mouth at any stage of it's life so no that combination will not work out. How big is the tank? That's just a bad combo of fish in general.
ok mate cheers for the info but it should work with the other fish (Y) would a 7" jag eat a 4" pbass and dovii? i think they might some how :/
jag and dovii have very little chance of getting along. parachromis in general do not do well together. not to mention the tank would have to be enormous for there to be enough room for all of them...those are some of the largest growing new world cichlids you're talking about.

I agree. Parachromis do well by themselves. My jag and Motag use to get it on like mad. They hated each other. Plus if you are keeping a pbass, you have to have a large tank. They get huge. Very aggressive eaters. Will eat anything that fits in their mouth. Dovii hmmm if its a male he will try to kill what ever tankmates he gets tired of. Super territorial.
the firemouth will get either killed or eaten by any of the tankmates, so would not add them at all. The pbass shouldn't be together with the Parachromis either in the tank due to the difference in aggression, since pbass aren't at that level
oh well ill have them in another tank then if u think its best the male jag is 7" he would eat the 4" cichla??
