Hey everyone. I'm about to go buy a fish for my 30 gallon tank. I was wanting a aggressive fish that will eat live bait (like oscars) But I dont want an oscar. Is there any fish I can buy at pets mart or some exotic store for somewhat cheap that is aggressive? If so please tell me some names, thanks

Sadly big monsters and 30G dont really go together... Is this the only tank you have or are there other options?

kribensis cichlids are entertaining little fish, and would go well with golden wonder killifish. both are small enough for that tank, easy to find (at least around here), and will happily chase after daphnia and scuds. both of which are fairly easy to raise.
you could also look into natives. an orange spotted or a few black banded sunfish would be nice for that tank. there are florida vendors on aquabid with them. and no heater needed, so it's cheaper to run.
