I really dont have a clue when it comes to cichlids, what is this guy? Would he slaughter my red wolf, bichirs, ropefish dat or pbass? He wasnt a finger chaser or glass banger but hes super pretty, very nice spangling on the fine and hes got a nice thick shape

Where you getting it from?? Those teeth are for scrapping algae off rocks in Lake Malawi, however they can do some damage to other fish.

An LFS up the street, its in a tank from a trade in group. 30$ a good price or steep? Shes about 5 inch and pretty thick

$30 is way too much... head over to The Fish Place or Pet Plus... Markheim is right there too, they all have all kinds of Mbuna for half that price and bigger too... if you really want one that bad, but don't spend $30 on a 5" Red Zebra... they are one of the most common Mbuna fyi.

Ah I see I wasn't really looking to get some random African so I'm for sure not gonna get it, especially since its overpriced. I think the guys at the Creekside misidentified it thinking its something more valuable.

Creekside is on Abbott in lackawanna, its pretty ghetto but has really good deals usually, got a pair of Asian needle nose gars when I was there and they were 10 ea, red wolf fish was 25, red tail cuda was 15, my Orino was only 8, etc so I don't think he'd knowingly put a price like that on such a common fish. Plus the pellets are cheap, 8$ for hikari carni, 4.50 for hikari cichlid gold
