Need some help people help ID my Vieja

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm usually wrong with these types but I'd say it looks more like a bifasciatus. it looks a little too bulky for it's size to be fenestratus but then again I don't think bifasc usually get that much blue to them. with Vieja/Paratheraps types you can also never rule out the possibility of it being a hybrid. :)

Thank you for trying here I am personaly thinking more twards female fenestratus at first the though bifasciatus, but after refuring to a couple pics I though differently. I still just can't be sure though thats why I wanted some help. Though for sure MFK would be the place to get my answer! What up people help a brother out hahahah:headbang2

These two pics from Jeff Rapps now what do you think? I used these as a referance but still hard.

someone who knows help me out! :D Note I based what I have said for the fact that only these two species have this black line running threw them to my knowledge. Zonatus and synspilum do not correct?

I had a Fenestratus before and he was a little so and so!!!! to say the least, it tried takin on my Festae Female and for about ten seconds it was doing well but then the Festae layed the smack down on its ass!!!!!!!! bye bye fenestratus.

i say Fenestratus

I would have to say Vieja synspilus based on the blue speckling around the face and because of the fins the almost rainbow looking with red borers. my 2 cents
