Hello, I have been keeping fish for a LONG time. I have a 125 set up with 5 Frontosa's in it. 2 large canister filters and 3 powerheads. It stays at 80 degrees. They all normally stay hid most of the time. Today they were all up at the top of the tank gasping for air. I added another powerhead thinking that one of the canisters was cloged up a bit and I would clean it tomorrow. When I got home from work one was dead.
What could cause this. I have never had this happen before.

Please help

Thanks

Check nitrites... apart from that, I can't think of anything.

What's your water changes like. Get an airstone in there ASAP for now.

CO2 will do this. Ammonia levels being high will too. are their gills red?

correction: improper levels of CO2 will do this, since it takes away from oxygen supplies
