One of my black arowana got cloudy eyes. My water parameters are as follows:
ammonia .25
nitrite .25
nitrate 20

I'm doing 50-80% water change, every three days. I don't want my fish to go blind. So what else do you guys think i should do?
Thanks in advance.

Nope. What i know is, they come from bad water condition. Other than that, Got no idea.

Cloudy eyew is a symptom, not a disease, it can be caused by water conditions, contaminants, bacteria, and more rarely some fungi. In this case I would guess ammonia and nitrites are to blame, both should be zero. long term exposure to even low levels can damage your fish. You need to make sure you do not over feed, and above all add additional biofiltration even a couple box filters filled with fragments of lava rock will help.

I have lava rocks in my sump. I got a wet/dry rated for 300g. And a 404. I guess, i need additoinal fliter then. I do feeding every other day. Should i increase my water change? Thanks for the info too guppy.

I added some slat and bump the temp up. The eyes are clearing. Bought a new fliter and it'll arrive on friday.
