There is so much conflicting information on this species :irked:

I have one small heat pad on the bottom of the terrarium, I'm not sure if I need a heat lamp or another heat pad on the side of the aquarium. It seems every care sheet recommends something different. The place I bought the frog from said they did not need a heater, some sites claim as long as the aquarium temp is above 68 degrees you do not need additional heating. Other sites say it needs to be 85 degrees. Anyone know which way I should go with this?

those frogs do fine in room temperature. if your place gets cold during the winter you can move the heat pad to the side of the tank where the frogs will usually sit. This gives them the option to thermoregulate.

I kept mine at 80, and he lived to the age of 23, if you want more information pm me
