Need some help with an ID.

When I got this fish he was just a little silver guy. The day I got him I bought 2 little silver guys and one died while I was on vacation. They were labeled as a Red Collar and a Masons. Thanks for your help.

Hmm could be a Taiwan reef or maybe a Red Empress.Its been a good while since I've kept Africans.

Doesn't look like a red shoulder. It isn't a masoni. Could be a hydrid.

He isn't a Taiwan. I used to have one of those. Thank you for the help though. I took a pic to were I purchased this guy. They were stumped too. Sometimes when they are small they get mixed up a bit during the packaging, shipping, ect... He is still pretty small and they were impressed by the colors he is starting to show.

It's been a few months and he has colored up some. I blacked out the background but didn't mess with his color.
