Hey MFK peeps... i need some help with one of my tanks..it is Cloudy and never clear...what i have is a 75gallon with 2 Fluval 304 200w heater :fish: 2 Oscars. 1 Flroida Gar, 1 small RTC (wich will be move to bigger tank later ) ..never had a problem like this with my other tanks.
Now, they only eat 3 times a week..( Krill and pellets ) i do a water change 2 time a month...but i cant keep it clear..Anyone have any idea what i could do to Clear this water???

I'd say more frequent water changes, perhaps weekly.

What kind of not clear is the water.. What are the Parameters?? What color is your fog :)

how 'bout more charcoal ?? more biomedia in the filters ??

could be sumthin in your pellets, try a new brand...also add more charcoal is a good idea!

Many things, charcoal may or may not help, purigen may or may not help. Limiting lighting if it is a green fog will help. Have you recently 'cleaned' your filter, in tap water? How large are your water changes? Also, how big are each of your fish? The gar and RTC will both be too big quickly, and will put out a lot of detritus causing a brown cloud. Only way to fix that one is far more frequent water changes.

First off...
:welcome: :mwave:

How long has the tank been up?

Do you know what your water chemistry is?

Does the cloud darken or get greenish just before you do a water change?

WyldFya's got it covered.
