Today at the tfp meet i picked up 4 Neolamprologus brevus. These little guys are teeny tiny, so ill post pics later, but im looking for some good tank mates once they get bigger. The tank is a 28 gallon bowfront, (24"x12"ish foot print) with a fluval 205, lots of lava rock caves, shells, and plenty of room to swim.

Only other tankmates are a small clown pleco.

So help!?!! whats some other good take mates, preferrably tanganikans even though the pleco isnt. Also maybe something yellow. Julidochromis Transcriptus has already been shot down.

Y? Other shellies are nice but the foot print is not really big. I have

'Lamprologus' multifasciatus
Altolamprologus sp. "Compressiceps Shell"
'Lamprologus' caudopunctatus brevis

that is what I have with my

Is your m/f ration 1/3 on the brevus? Why not just get some more brevus? A species only tank would be wonderful! Maybe some other julidochromis would be nice. I would stay away from brichardi as they may cause problems for the shellies.

I would look into getting some more brevus. I think the species only tank would be great!
