My wolf fish seems to have what looks like fungus but i'm not sure. It doesn't look like fungus that I have come across before. It's yellow or brown in color instead of white and it's not just a couple strands it almost looks like a ball with strands. it's on it's tail and one of the bottom fins. The really weird thing is I noticed it a week ago so I added salt, I keep the temp at 82 so I didn't adjust that. Well two days later it had appeared to be gone.. now it's on the other side of the fin. I'm almost wondering if it's something that was floating and just got stuck to it. I'll try to get a pic but you can only see it when it's tail is fully exposed.

I know fungus is caused by poor water quality but I don't see how that could be the case.. it's a 50 gallon breeder (48x18x13), I use an AC110 and do 2x 50% WC a week. The wolf fish is the only fish in the tank. There is no way the water quality could be that bad :screwy:
