I have a quick question, I have a 29gal tank with one 2inch pleco, I was wondering if I can add a 4in aro in their??? i have a 75 gal but if I put the aro in their my gar would eat it... So I was wondering will the aro be fine in a 29 gal until it gets bigger??? Oh and my last question is, are arowanas considered fast growing fish?

ok maybe some piranhas?piranhas ??? i think its worst, it will devour all the other fishes, including your gar (depending on their size).
unless you plan to have a bigger tank for both of them, aros and gars can live together.
I housed my silver in a small tank, untill he grows to 6", them moved him to another tank, now has about 9" and when grows more, its time to go to the bigger tank.
