Today while helping measure this building that got hit by a tornado, i saw that some of the window pieces were intact. There are two sizes of glass, The big pieces are 6 ft by 4 ft and the smaller pieces are 6 ft by 2 ft. These sheets of glass are close to half inch thick. The guy is going to have everything romoved and i ask about the sheet, and he say he didnt care if i got them off his hands.

Depending on how i use the glass i could make a 350 gallon tank or a 540.

I was wondering if anyone has ever has glass machined together and how much did it cost or would it cost?

Or what would be the best way to put the pieces together?

You could build a plywood tank similar to necros

I wouldn't try to put them together. I would just go with the necro idea. There is a good chance that it is tempered glass. Tempered is really strong, but also really easy to shatter.
