I have a 55 gal that I've been raising some demasoni's and yellow lab cichlids in for quite some time. Usually when i do a water change I just use our tap water and some prime and everything goes smoothly, but the other day I did the same routine water change and now I have several dead fish and some milky looking water. I can taste a difference in our tap water so I'm thinking they added some chemicals to help with the melting snow around the reservoirs, but I don't know what I should do now. Any suggestions on how to re-stabilize my tank, or do you think it will with time? Has anybody delt with this situation?
