A few months ago we had a outbreak of bugs and had exterminator come. Well now the bugs are gone but I have noticed they crawled in to the trim on one of my 55 Gallon tanks and died which is making thank itself smell bad. Last time I tried to remove trim I completely destroyed the trim. Now I could care less about the trim as this is a in wall tank that is framed out, my question is two parts 1 do I need to replace the trim if I destroy it? and any tips on how I might be able to remove it easier.
