Need some help...

I currently have two Ray's in my tank male and female around 9-10" both were eating shrimp for the last 6 months or so and the last 2-3 days my female will not take it just chews on it but she will eat blood worms has anyone experienced a ray quitting cold turkey very odd.

It can be a few things, water quality first and foremost, then stress or a disease. Check your water first, then is something harassing her (the male?) . if none of the above i would start with Prazi

Any chance your feeding a different kind of shrimp then normal? Might taste different to her.

Water quality is good my male always harassed her but might be more then normal that maybe it. As far as disease not sure but she is eating blood worms just not the shrimp

Maybe I can try a different shrimp to see if that changes anything.

This happened to me I usually get shrimp from giant/or Costco, I was in Walmart and needed to pick up some more shrimp and figured I would just save myself a trip and purchased frozen raw shrimp my rays wouldn’t touch it . So no shrimp from Walmart for my rays.

I’ve had the same thing happen to me feeding dats. Taste buds are just to good lol
