Need Some Help

so i got in my new and first flowerhorn today. its settling in nicely in a 60g divided tank. i have a bag of food on hand but also ordered more diffrent types for it. my question is this. soon i will be buying it (calling it a IT because i havent vented it yet) a 75g tank with sponge filters. i am using just prime for the water right now. is there anything else yall suggest adding to the water? or is just prime fine?

I suggest some seachem stability to ur tank. I add a capful (~5ml) once a month.

Can always consider tannins to prevent HITH. Since these fish always seem to have problems. Just something to think about.

I would jus keep the prime, flowerhorn are hardy fish so they will adjust to the water parameters. If its a ZZ then they are a bit sensitive on nitrates and ammonia but this will happen if you feed a lot and not doing regular water change.

Awesome thanks for the reply man. yeah i am planning on doing 50% wc every 3 days or so. feed only 3 times a day and i always remove watever food isnt eaten.
