Hi all this is my 1st posting in MKF. I'm keeping 5 x 12-15" female motoro in a fibre glass tank. Yesterday I introduce in a fully mature 12" male into the tank. Just over one night, all the female is having bite marks all over but they are still eating very well.. Do I have to worry about the situation? Hope u guys can advice me... Thanks:):(

As long as there is just marks and not chunks missing from the disc or bleeding I would not worry about it to much You should post some pictures of the aggression for a better determination.

Alright I'll post some pic tmr morning.. Btw is all this biting just aggessions from the male or there is a chance of mating? Bcos I feel that it seems so impossible to start mating immediately after introducing into the tank..

More then likely it is from the male trying to get the females to breed, but I have also seen it with certain females also but I would say breeding aggression.

I agree. It sounds like breeding behavior. I'm not surprised he's already trying to breed the females. It's natural for them. The injuries to the females are normal. Mine get some pretty large chunks taken out. Don't worry about it unless it get's real bad.

I agree but do believe pics are needed

be sure to declorify your water because if there is a wound your ray could get clorine poisoning and then your ray swells up and can die.
