need some ideas for a cichlid decor

i am setting up a 70g for a african cichlid tank. i want to set it up to do two things.

1. i want it to be comfortable for the fish and give them a place that mimics their natural environment

2. i want it to be a tank that lets people see the fish and is pleasing to our eyes.

in short, i want my cake and eat it too. if any of you have any ideas or pics of something i can do, please let me know. i have no imagination when it comes to decorating. you should see the mishmash of crap i live with.

I use Texas Holy Rock in my african cichlid tank, looks good and my cichlids have lots of places to hide

but i would just make some pvc caves

go to a Home Depot...buy some white play sand for 4$ for a 50lbs bag...

buy some lava rock/holy rock (mentioned above) and buy an air rock and air pump...

that would look sexy.

driftwood is my favorite with my ca's with a little bit of tannins in the water it looks even better plus whatever rocks you like i use slate
