need some ideas please

I have a 55 gallon tank and it has never been used before. I have a eheim pro 2 canister for up to 90 gallons right now. I am not sure on what fish to get. I just want a nice looking tank and fish. I don't care if it's one fish or 20 fish. I just want some ideas and I will go from there. Also I am planning on using bio spira to cycle the tank. Anyone tried it before?

I have heard from friends locally that bio spira works.. And on here as well..

I have never kept any aquarium fish. I have a outdoor 2400 gal goldfish pond. I want fish with color.

ok well im willing to order online also if need to. but all i have is a petco and petsmart, thats 2 hours away, but i guess i can go look if i get the time. but thanks for the list i will look them up

my favorites of this list would be the three diff kinds of botia and corydoras. now I need to find out what can go together and how many and what not. google time

keep in mind that they are pretty aggressive though
