need some info on how to make a pike biotope aquarium

hey well i just got my 2 new venezualan pikes yesterday...they r about 5 inches ...im pretty sure they r male and female because all they do is fallow eachother around and what not.

Once christmas comes around, my mom and dad r getn me a 65 gal. aquarium (im 14) and i was going to try my hand at making a biotope aquarium for them...could any of you guys give me a list of supplies that i could get to make that happen...any ideas about what to do with the aquarium would b great as well

start by asking if you can add a 1 in front that 65...

best way to do it is to find out location and search for any other fish that might be in that area.

in a 65 you could do a basic sand bottom with 1 nice piece of wood maybe try to cover it with moss.

venezuelan pike get really big, like too big for a 65 gallon. What are the dimensions of that anyway? I'd say it would probably be best to good a used 75 thats in good shape, you will save a bunch of money and its probably a better footprint.

Pikes have a reputation for hating each other.

yeah after like talking to my mom she said i can get a 75 gal. for my room sooo yeah...im thinking just sand bottom and wood like taz said
