Would these guys be ok with a 26 inch pacu,22 inch clown knife,a 11 inch freddy,and a JD along with some huge pleco's.....

Sure would. What size are the bass? 10'' would be a good start for the bass in that tank of monsters.

well @ any given chance a pred is a pred... so in order for you to enjoy your first pea or pea's the tank mates you have now @ the size they are.. you need bigger!! price very much ranges on where you are and location and how rare it is for your location to get a hold of them... @ that size you maybe spending $60+... but like i said it all depends on where your @..
whay i meant by instant gratification is by goiung bigger and not being able to see their growing process/stages
