Hey everyone...just looking for some input and advice here. I'm looking at roughly a 300 gallon aquarium project that I want to start on later this year once we are settled in a house and the new baby gets here. I am going back and forth on whether or not I want to set it up as a freshwater tank or if I want to go saltwater as a FOWLR setup with a nice moray and other predators. The freshwater would most likely be oscars and catfish.
Just wondering if there is a huge difference in maintenence costs going with saltwater over fresh....I'm sure its a little more but wasn't sure if it would be a drastic increase. Also looking for any suggestions as what I should set it up as and why...thanks!
