ok i have a 300 gal now.... so i think im ready for a more agressive active monster. i was thinkin either 2 or 3 durado or a ATF or maybe someone can recomend somethin else....?
right now i have a TSN, RTC, jardini and 2 florida gar.
filtration is 3 fx5s and a 75 gallon sump coming soon.
the foot print is 3ft by 6ft so there is some room.
also im getting a motoro ray soon.
if need be i can sell my jardini and have another fish take its place as middle swimmer but hopefully the fish i mentioned can live with him peacefully.
hope to get some advice soon.

Yikes that is a huge bioload for just 300gallons. I would be worried about your jardini's aggressiveness. Guessing none of the fish are close to mature age ... What are your nitrate levels? What are your upgrade plans?

never mind...... of course i get a response like this. i forgot this is the new monster guppy keepers.....
n JUST 300 gallons....???? may i ask what your plans are for your RTC?
anyways, the cats are young still and my friend at the zoo here wants them when they get over 2 ft. she told me to grow them out for her so she can add them to there new exhibit. my nitrates read undetectable. i run 3 containers of purigen in the fx5s and have pothos in the tank. its actually not that much bio load.
honestly do you actually know much about monster fish keeping or do you just regurgitate what you read on here? i mean honestly i dont know if you do or dont but that is the cookie cutter answer for this forum when someone says they have more than 2 fish in a 300 gallon tank.

You see that a lot around here, lately. People giving advice about fish they have never own before. It's funny sometimes.

3x FX5's and a 75 gal sump would be MORE then enough for your tank. Plus weekly water changes. I would add fish that can keep up with the RTC and the TSN growth rate (which is 2' in the first year).

i agree man, that much filtration could handle alot more. all people ever get is reprimanded on stocking questions so just forget them and get some more fish! i say the durados would be pretty cool but thats just me! keep on buying! :)

thanks guys! its good to see real mfkers still around.
the RTC is already at about 15in and the tsn is maybe 13.
i wish i could find durados at about 8 in i think that would be perfect.
i have never kept durado. i hear they are pretty hardy but do they use there teeth like a ATF?
i really want somethin mean and shocking lol

lol yea if i cant get them at least 8 in i just wont do it or i will grow them out at work in my 120 maybe.
do ATFs do good in groups
i wish i could get that pbass in your pic man!

dont we all wish we could have a pbass that pretty :)

Dont we all just want a pbass haha. Any i rekon with ATFs but grow em out in the 120 they grow fast enough with a good diet they'll be in the three hundred in no time. Ps would love to see a pic of your TSN, want one in my tank so bad but a bit hard to find in my country thanks to a s@&t goverment
