imo it can be a bit hit and miss. its one of those things you just have to try unfortunately- my guess is they probably wont get eaten but theres always the chance it could happen - if you keep the big endli well fed you shouldnt have a death on your hands. hopefully that helps you make a decision. as for a lot of fishkeeping combos its trial and error. good luck.
i think as long as the smaller ones have enough girth to not be able to fit down the mouth of the bigger poly, they should be fine.
I would not recommend that you mix a endi with any poly that is 4inc smaller than it. I have 8 endi about 12inch and put it a ornate that was 7inch and one killed it and tried to eat it but it could not fit. I also lost a 8inc ABA ABA Knife, they same to kill anything that is smalled then them.
ok ill be sure to watch, so far i just see aggression with the big endli once in a while he snaps at my small endli and ornate, or hell grab their heads with his mouth then lets go. im sure that its territorial and maybe the big endlis hungry. hes starting to eat more food and being more active so that means hes too busy swimming to bother the endli and ornate. also think hes still getting used to my tank.
it really depends on the fish. i have a 15" Lap and he has never tried to eat my 9" sen or my 9" endli.
