Hey guys my 220 is getting a little full and I am thinking of getting a 75 or 90gal to spread the stock out a little. right now my current stock is:

7 IT dats
1 NTT dat
1 AT dat
1 Leopard Ctenopoma
1 Fei Feng
1 Florida Gar
1 Red Tail Payara
1 Marbled Sleeper Goby
2 Ocars
1 Leopard Frog Pleco
1 Gold Nugget Pleco
1 Common Pleco
8 Red hooks

Everyone for the most are are still small so it isnt really getting full but will be soon enough :D. I wouldnt mind getting rid of the Red Hooks and the common pleco though.

so I am just curious as to how YOU would split the stock between a 220 and a 75 or 90gal?

you might ditch the common???
:(

Plecos and ctenopoma in the 90 gallon, Payara in the 75

it is only going to be a 90 or a 75 not both, I only have room for 1 4ft tank since the 220 takes up the whole living room.

the common is pushing 12"s and it actually quite aggressive, I see him chasing other fish all the time.

sounds like you need to start double stacking tanks :)

lol I would but there is a bulkhead above my tank so I dont have space. I know with the dats I have years before the over crowed the tank, the biggest is around 7"s.

When the time comes I am willing to pick my faves and rehome the others if I dont have other tank space by that time. but when I get my house I plan on getting a wall tank (10'+) but that wont happen for a couple of years with the recession going on right now.

Also I have crazy filtration so it isnt that bad.
