Need some quick help!

Just found my biggest Discus that hides alot swimming upside down with it's stomach sunken an white poo hanging. Is there any hope???

never had that problem but im sure someone here will chime in and help ya out!

I have never lost a Discus. I haven't lost a fish in 6 months.

Epsom salt, increase the temps and get some metro in him. In severe cases I will pull the discus out of the water and force a mixture of metro and water down their throat with a syringe.

Could be a million things, but getting him to poop is a good start.

I'm afraid it is too late. I can't use salt it will kill my plants.

That's why it's always good to have a quarantine tank =)

I have one. By the time I found him he was too far gone. This fish only comes out on occation.

Ah well, noth'n that can be done, I've had perfectly fine Grade AAA discus die from impaction while others in the tank were doing great and grew up to be adults.

Just happens, anyone who tells you they've never lost a fish in this hobby either hasn't been in it very long or is lying.

I can't say I've never lost one, but it's been a long time. Just really makes me mad.
