Alright, i just got a free 90 gal tank?
its 48x18x24(LxWxH)

would a school of 4-SIX Hujeta Gar.. and 1-2 yellow/red tail cuda be good in there?
would the cudas eat the hujeta if there around the same size?
also for a bottom eater what would you reccomend?
i got 1x spotted upside down cat to go in already..
id like one more bottom eater.

also my BGK will go in that tank.
so i have lots of room for my silver arow and black arow when i get it in my other tanks..

any info is apriciated!

Also

Boulengerella maculata max out at 13"
at that size.. would they eat a 9" Hujeta?
they are simmilar species just color/pattern and size are different..

id like to mabey have a school of fish consisting of the following

Striped Pike Characin "Boulengerella lateristriga"
Ctenolucius hujeta
red tail baracuda (Acestrorhynchus falcatus)
Boulengerella maculata

+ my two bottom feeders,

how would that work?

P.S stocking can be a bit on the heavier end since i will be using two eheim canister filters,

you would probably have to upgrade tanksize in the future with that many monsters in there :D.. and there's not much bottom activity IMO...:D

I have had hujetas wit yellow tails last month. I traded my hujeta cause he was a jerk. The two were fine together. You WILL need to upgrade in the future, but they are slow growers. Bottom feeders get like 7-8 pictus. There so cool and grow slow too, so it would work. (Ive had the 3 together also)

Alright, i guess my main question is.. will they all live fine together?
tank size is no problem, i seem to always find them for dirtcheap or next to nothing, my uncle just picked up a 150 gallon with wood stand filters canopy all lights and everything for 200$,

i got the 90 gal for free. and am looking at another 220 for 100$! (hes selling it cheap because he thinks noone wants a tank without trim ;))

So would all the fish listed live together? Would they school together?
since they are all schooling fish. i dont wanna have a bunch of pike characin, and then one red tail cuda that is outcasted because hes a different species,
and for bottom feeders.

would that many pictus accualy be good in a 90??
if so i guess i could get like 3 upsidedown spotted cats and 4-5 pictus??

thanx for any advice,

im just getting seriously into the hobby (along with reptiles LOL)
so i have lots of questions
