I'm a member of another fish forum - and they're very fond of stocking VERY light. I would love to get everyone's' input on this forum - as you have more experience with large cichlids.
I'm moving soon - and depending on the room & location - I may be setting up a few spare tanks I have lying around. My current stock is in my sig. Here's my ideas so far -
72 Bow - Uaru pair, POSSIBLY Severum
(Thinking of adding a BN Pleco. This would be sand bottom, driftwood, possibly hardier plants to survive these fish)
55 - Rainbow (still need to sex to purchase mate)
(Not sure if I want to add the Firemouth or Salvini to this. Would love to get pairs out of both, but don't want to push it in such a small tank)
150 - JD's (may be looking to re-home my 7 in. male), BR Parrot, Cons
(The Parrot is kind of the odd-man out. She's super aggressive, and getting very large.)
I'm done with Oscars, but am looking for other larger cichlids to live in the 150. Any ideas for ANY of the tanks is great;y appreciated.
