need some stocking ideas for a 55 gallon reef set up

here are some of the "normal" ones i came up with

pair of clownfish
purple firefish
flame hawk
dragonet
royal gramma
lawnmower blenny
clown goby
some sort of wrass


i really need some ideas!!!

sounds good, smurph, if a little on the heavy side. but i'm sure you have good filtration on a reef. the flame hawk might go after your clown goby, and i'd make sure you get a healthy, feeding firefish. might lose out on territory, feeding, in that tank. i'm not so good with wrasses, maybe one of the fairys?
keep in mind your reef-safe wrasse will probably compete heavily with the dragonet for food.
 
are you just trying to get as many ideas on types as possible or is this what you are considering putting in the tank?
 
just trying to get as many ideas as possable. those are just some of the ones i came up with, not for sure putting them inthe tank. just shoot out as many ideas as you've got!
 
radiant wrasse, Christmas wrasse, and the common fairy wrasse are my favorites. The dragonet will not be added until the tank is about 9months old, and preferably older, in the 18month range. I was luck and got mine slightly eating on brine and mysis. does not seem to take in a lot but some is better then none.

i always browse through sites, not intedning to buy, but to to see what fish are out there, a cost estimate, and some info on them..

also what i did more when i was starting out was go to the libary and check out a bunch of guides and encyclopaedias of aquarium fish.. helped alot

dwarf angels (so many to choose from, but they may nip at certain corals)
fairy and flasher wrasses, also alot
jawfish <- LOVE LOVE LOVE these guys! :D
dartfish
firefish
sand gobies
shrimp gobies
blennies
cardinals
grammas
serranids
nano gobies
many types of anthias
certain butterflies MIGHT work depending on what type of reef (get a fish that's ok with the corals you keep)
 
thats what i was planning with the dragonet (my tank has been running for about 10 months now, but i am just converting it to reef now). i really like the radiant and christmas wrasse also
 
thanks for all the help big! do you know if any dwarf angel would be better then the other, i would really like a flame but i dont know if they would work.
 
arite i did some searching and found some really cool fish, dont know if they will work though. here they are
