Need some suggestions and ideas please

Hey all,
Have a 300g tank and at the moment it just has two pieces of wood inside.
Really not that well designed aswell.. Haha
Just wanting to add some plants to make things more 'alive'
I have white sand!
I also have clown loaches, 9 of them ranging 4-10 inch and a flagtail.
Looking for plants that is quite tall, tank height is 30 inch.
And ways to keep the plants down!

jungle val, foxtail big swords, crinum, onion plant or my personal favorite Madagascar lace.

A tank that size will need some intense lighting like metal halides and a good root system because most of those plants absorb most of their nutrients though their roots

onion plants are awesome for tall tanks.

Yeah I have 2 sets of lights and also a tanning lamp for my hbrtg inside the tank.
Are onion plants like actual plants? Or are they just individuals like amazon swords? Might look into that
Just want something that's hardy and tall to be honest

They are single plants if that's what you mean

In that case, java ferns tied to rocks...and maybe anubias tied to your dw.

The other rooted plants don't do well in sand, and many of the plants require co2 and such...
