need suggestions for a tank mate

had to remove a 4-5" true texas cichlid from my 120gal mixed cichlid tank because of abnormal levels of aggression to all other tank mates. currently in a 30 gal and is very lonely. need some suggestions for a single tank mate ideally another cichlid. I dont know the sex, but would consider pairing the fish up. Photos of the tank setup below and closeup of the fish.
Any ideas for a tank mate appreciated

If your tex was to aggro with your cichlids in your 120 why would you try adding a cichlid into a 30 with the tex. the 30 will be to small for that fish very soon. sell the tex or get a bigger tank for it.

i agree with crisper. if you can't do this then you will have better luck if you put a non-cichlid in the tank. from my experience cichlids tend to be more aggressive with other cichlids than non-cichild fish. goodluck with whatever you decide.
