Hello,

I have a 380g and wanted some ideas on how i should go about my setup the dimensions are 10ft long, 2.5ft wide, 2.5ft tall. I was gonna go with black moon sand but went with Mexican beach pebbles instead. My Lfs didn't have enough sand to cover the bottom and it was to expensive to order more so this seemed like the right choice. Anyway the fish that will be going into the tank is a RTC, RTCxTSN hybrid, Ocellaris Peacock bass, Temensis or Azul, and Jaguar. Any ideas about plants (floating and stationary), plant placement, or backgrounds would be appreciated.

paint the back of the tank black. backgrounds are annoying and dont look that great.
just spray paint it on the back and the black will make your fish's colors POP.

plant placement does not matter.. your fish are going to put them where they like them.. same goes for prettmuch anything you put in the tank with your bulldozers..

as for background.... the wall behind the tank works well... flat black also looks nice.. IMO pictures of plants and rocks should only be used if you have a sunken pirate ship and a bubbling treasure chest in the tank..
some people have made some really nice rock wall sculptures and such.. but unless they are somehow interactive (for the fish not for you) they might as well be pictures of rocks...

a few large pieces of driftwood and some large stones would look nice.. just dont stack anything that you dont want getting knocked over..
