I have a 85 gallon long. I bought the tank and stand only, It had the eclipse filter hoods - the filters. I want to ditch the eclipse items and put a fluval 405 in there, im having issues finding glass tops at any lfs. I have a friend who cuts glass and replaces glass so i guess ill have the glass cut to order.
Dimensions of glass needed are
30.5xl x 13.25 wide
Now with the 85 gallon will a 405 be good enough?
How many heaters will this tank need, my house keeps a tank at 71o, but my fish breed at 79-80.
And now for lighting, once again I cannot trust petsmart to carry anything I need, i don't want to spend a ton of money here on lights, I just want something that can sit on the back of the glass and WORK.
anyone with pics, links, suggestions would be great.
Also tank measures from the lips at
62 n 3/4 by 20inches tall and 13.25 wide, is that 85 gallons?
