Ok so im in a bit of a dilema here. I will be going away for my wedding for 12 days so I'd like to hear some opinions on what to do with some of my fish while im gone. My main concern is my 150g growout that is currently housing a 5" vatf, three 3" peacock bass, 3 " tinfoil barbs, 4" bowfin, 3" flagtail, and three 2" clown loach. All of them are on pellets except the vatf and bowfin (they eat tilapia).
My idea was to divide the 150g with the bowfin and vatf on one side and the rest on the other OR remove the vatf and house him in a 75g to himself and divide the 150g with the bowfin on his own.
Now as for food im sure the vatf can go 12 days without eating as he just got off a starvation period about a week ago. Im a bit more concerned about my bass would they survive 12 days with out eating?
Im planning to give them a heavy meal the day before and clean up the tank at night along with a waterchange. I also plan to leave the tank lights off while im away. As for temp its currently sits at about 84 degrees with lots of oxygen flowing. Debating whether I should bring that down to about 80 to reduce aggression and appetite.
Open to suggestions
