Need Sunfish Tank Mate Suggestions

Alright well i decided to convert my 75 gal into a native tank too since im so happy with my native 125 gal. Right now the 75 just has 1 male red breasted sunfish about 6 inches long and he has quite an attitude.. Anyone know of any sunfish combos or other natives that would go well with the red breast? I live in Massachusetts so i only have the native species from up here to work with. Thanks!

Get a little bass. Like a largemouth or shadow bass! Or get a shoal of shiners. You should be able to pick up some kind of schooling bait fish from local bait shops. Maybe try something like that. It's always awesome to watch fish schooling up.
 
My experience, adding a lot of fish around the same size together. When I had two longears together, the bigger one ruled the tank and almost killed the other. Now I have about 10-15 together and it works out much better. I'd say add some more of what you already have and then a few others that you can catch around your area.
