I have an Eheim 2028 pro II, would recommend Eheim Classic Series over the 2026 or 2028.

Do you personally own one? If so, how does it perform? I don't know if I would trust a brand I have never heard of. Not to mention, it looks a little cheap.
I would just Ebay an FX5 for $250 w free shipping.
But, as one of the previous posters said, we need more info. Tank size? Stock?
There are extensive reviews of the above filters on aquariacentral and the planted tank. Most people are pretty impressed for 60 bucks. If I could throw out 250 bucks the FX5 is a no-brainer. But for those of us who can't...this may be a good alternative. I'm getting ready to try one...just waiting for pay day!!
