i believe you are correct. the nose is too small to be an l. trewavasae
My guess is a male. Males are usually bright blue with a red anal fin, females are silver-brown or orange-blotched.

He has been a little roughed up so not in awesome shape {colors and scales are a little rough} once i get him back in good form i will probably see the red come out and the blue alot bluer.. thanks again!!!!cool fish, looks like he needs to go out and buy some new fins. i had to get rid of my wifes moorii bc they were chewin on the frontosa. she picked out two peacocks so i bought them. when we got them, they were chewed up like your little guy. just waiting for them to grow back.
I love peacocks too.. he is eating great so he is getting more robust every day..had to add my severum in with him.. the male and female have been locking lips so much the female wore off some skin on her lips.. so she is in recovery as well .. they get along fine..toehead11183;742322; said:
