Hey guys...I was just at the pet store and I saw a beautiful Sting Ray. I have had a shoal of piranhas so i am not totally new to the fish game. I have a 75G tank and a fluval canister filter.

I just need to know the basics and if its a good idea purchasing a Sting Ray. Sounds like its difficult..

I am planning on adding white sand, plants and drift wood to give it a nice natural look.

Please help me out and give me ANY input you can.. id really appreciate it and it will help me make a deicion about this.

1. Your tank is too small.
2. Your tank is too small.
3. Your tank is too small.

4. Plants no.

5. Read the stickies.
6. Read freshwaterstingray.nl
7. Scour the stingray forum for a few months getting answers to your questions.

8. Get a bigger tank.
9. Come back and ask again.

Seriously. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I'm just giving it to you straight.

Rays are not difficult, they just have particular demands. Meet the demands, you enjoy the rays. Don't meet the demands, you lose the rays.
They are beautiful, intriguing creatures.
I hope you enjoy them. -FM
