IN FISH PARADISE
hi all ...

yesterday i was on the beach in the red sea ..

so i did snorkeling and i saw clowns , damsel , and something in a shell but it is so great

plus i found some dead rocks and small reef parts ( already dead and on the shore )

and ofcourse there is alot of sands :)

so all of that made me want to make a new sw tank .. !!

it is like ( for free )

just i ll buy tank , skimmer , filter ...

and of course the water is for free to so i ll make water change any time i want

but the problem is in 2 sth

first : how can i catch those fishes without hurting them

second : what is the right way to transfer fish with my to home ( the way back may take max 2 hours ) ....

.. ??!!

you might want to check our local laws first. I think you might have to have a permit to do all that. BTW where are u located?

the way ive always done it is to just let them climatize like normal...compare temps in bag and tank, and cut the bag so the water exchanges, let sit for 30 minutes, and let em go, never had a prollem

I wouldn't catch anything from ocean unless you check local law's and get the proper license to do it. You could get in big trouble and give people a reason to push for H.R. 669.

that and the fact that most marine life that is captive bread is inherently hardier, not to mention, a lot of times the sand on the shore is full of crap you would never want in an aquarium
