Hello Members,
Information about the fish and tank:
Age: 8.5months
Aquarium size: 100cms
Temperature maintained: 30c
Water change frequency: 20-30% every 2 days, depending on the amount of waste in the aquarium
Cholrine stabilizer and aquarium salt used for every water change
Feed: Okiko Platinum Pellets, no live food
My FH was not eating and throwing up the pellets suddenly. I suspected stomach bloat as the stomach seemed to be bloated for much time and hence used Ocean Free Paraclear by removing 70pct of the water. I kept him under the medication for 3 days.He seemed to be very weak after this medication and during this cause he totally stopped eating
I changed the water thinking that the medication is too much for him to bear. He is now moving around but occasionally shivers at the rear tail side and he does not eat any food even now
I seek your help to identify the problem and please suggest a solution.
