Spring is almost here and I need a canoe for fishing 'n' such.
I drove down from Mass, for school, and am in DC for school, so I need to find a new used canoe in the MD DC VA area - Not looking to spend exorbitant amounts of money. I know what these are worth, having had a few over the years.
Some requirements:
Must be stable - not prone to rolling over or tipping. I hate tipsy canoes.
Nothing too heavy please. I often canoe alone, which means I often load and unload alone too
Prefer a shorter canoe - less than 15 feet. Would be nice to come with a paddle or two.
Looks are not important, but prefer fiberglass over aluminum, and it must not have any cracks or leakage. I don't care to spend time or money fixing it.
Overall, the above is your usual average used canoe. The list of requirements is simply to weed out a couple that may not fit my needs.
