I have an active 75g with Geo's, Parrots, Uaru, and som clown loaches. Anyway, I am gonna get some more filtration. I have a rena xp4 and an emperor 350 (bio only). I am gonna get some more filtration. I would like a medium capacity canister.

What should I get?

How about an AC 110??? anyone??

OK how about this.....a small sump?..anyone....

What is your goal for more filtration? Your very heavily stocked. Are you having ammonia and/or nitrite issues, cloudy water, smell? If we know your goal its easier to give advice.

That said for just an all around recommendation for a 75, I think a Eheim 2117 classic canister would be a perfect addition to your tank. ;) They are a great canister and dead silent and reliable.

assuming all your levels are in check and you just want "crispy" looking water, how bout dump the emp, use the xp4 for bio and get 1 or better yet, 2 ac110's for polishing!

Use your 25g for a sump and set a multi-hundred gallon tank

I would just add a AC110 for some added mech. Plus you add some back up bio media, though the XP4 should more then handle the bioload of your 75g if it is set up properly.

No problems whatsoever...none. Just want to crisp things up. AC110 works well..like I said in an earler thread, removed carbon added biomax media.

FX5! FX5! FX5!

Haha... I think an AC 110 would be a very economical way to upgrade your filtration, especially if you run it double sponge. You can find those things used for next to nothing...
