I was at my LFS and they have a fish which looks kind of like an Iridescent Shark but with much bigger eyes.... and completely black..... stomach and all no lighter color what so ever. Any ideas? Could it be just a black iridescent or is there another species in that family that can have that coloration? Looked on planet catfish and didn't see one exactly like it. If I go back and buy it today I'll post pics later.

The big eye could be a sign that the fish in question is simply stunted from a undersized tank. It could be a paroon shark tho as well.
I wouldn't think it was stunted.... it sat in the front 125 gallon for a while before he decided to move em into the sale tanks. And the dorsal and pectoral fins don't look the same as a paroon.... I made sure to check that out first. constant swimmer though.... I think i'm gunna go get it and i'll post pictures when I get it home. The LFS owner didn't know what it was either just said it got donated to him.

Sounds like a Pangasidon Gigas to me.... but I could be mistaken. Could be another Pangasius species I am not familiar with.
